Home tour celebrates holidays, benefits students, community

   San Vicente Valley Club promises an exciting and unique “Homes for the Holidays” Home Tour onSaturday, Nov. 14.  
   Four homes will be featured, with the tour scheduled from 10 a.m. to  3:30 p.m.  Each of the homes feature a different theme:
• Tom and Sallie McKelvey, A Harvest Home;
• Darrel and Jill McKenzie, Santa Comes to Ramona;
• Tom and Colleen Christensen, A Family Christmas; and
• Lowell and Shirley Leyrer, in conjunction with Judy Nachazel, New Year’s Artistic   Gallery.
   The New Year’s Artistic Gallery will include a variety of renowned local artist’ works, most being members of the Ramona Open Studio group.
From 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the San Vicente Inn and Golf Club, booths will be set up with different vendors in the parking area, enticing all with a variety of items.
   As visitors enter the inn, there will be music presented from various talented musicians, plus in the San Vicente Room there will be a Bake Shoppe, Fine Collectables to view, and opportunity drawings with gift certificates, golf packages, vacation trips and more.
   The cost for drawing tickets are $1 each, six for $5 and 30 for $20.   
   A Fashion Show/Luncheon will be held from noon until 1:30 p.m. in The Oaks Grille Restaurant.
